Interim Roles for HR Professionals

Job No: PEAK256
Location: Newstead

The Organisation

We are working with a number of Councils throughout QLD who are looking for candidates at the Manager level in Human Resources, whilst they recruit for the Permanent Positions. This could also be an opportunity to ‘try before you buy’ if something Permanent is appealing.  It is not, however, a pre-requisite to be interested in staying longer than 2-4 months.  The focus is on attracting experienced candidates who can "hit the ground running" and support these CEO's for an interim period. The roles are to start ASAP.

These opportunities represent a unique chance to see a part of the world few get to experience!  Bring your wife and/or husband or partner and enjoy it together in fully equipped housing!

The Roles

Sound skills and a high level of experience is highly sought after for these roles with some Local Government highly regarded. We are looking for a respected leader, someone that people will validate your competency and ability to engage those around you and calmly execute agreed objectives.

Any of these roles represent an opportunity to join our growing team of interim executives.

About You

Currently, or shortly available, to commit to assignments ranging from between 2-4 months, you have a solid background working in Human Resources.  You will have a demonstrated ability to deliver HR operations across the organisation and enjoy motivating staff and monitoring processes and outcomes. Being flexible, resilient and able to work independently with a broad, mature outlook will underpin an ability to establish co-operative and harmonious working relationships.

These positions require people who are available to start as soon as possible.  Council will provide fully self-contained accommodation and flights in and out of the closest airport.

For those considering an adventure in regional Queensland, this could be your chance to enjoy life away from the daily commute and to experience all the benefits of living in a truly unique location where the fishing and outdoor activities are unique and unforgettable. A vehicle will be made available for approved personal use.

If we’ve piqued your interest then call to discuss what could be genuine, career-enhancing opportunities. These roles offer a broad scope that can't often be found in larger organisations so if you are ambitious, your exposure across a varied workload will hold you in good stead for future advancement opportunities either here or elsewhere.
