 A specialised operator delivering civil infrastructure solutions that are based on extensive engineering expertise, technology and systems.

With offices located throughout Australia, employing over 150 staff and with a strong reputation across various sectors, this organisation is a leader in sustainable insfrastructure.

This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join the management group as the leader of a business unit made up of approximately 30 staff including project managers, administration and field staff. This role will be located near Brisbane and will require some travel.

The person who will be successful in this role is somebody who has the following:

  • Experience in business development and business improvement strategies
  • Sound civil technical knowledge with a focus on road infrastructure
  • Can efficiently manage projects within budget and timeframes
  • Productively grow, maintain and coordinate key stakeholder relationships and the interactions of internal business managers
  • A good sense of business acumen and experience managing a P&L
  • Demonstrated experience in successful strategy planning including marketing, business development and business improvement opportunities.

Key Criteria:

  • Qualification in civil engineering or similar, or the equivalent in relevant experience
  • Project management experience
  • Demonstrated success in Business Development

Existing relationships in the civil or local government sector and experience as a senior manager able to develop and deliver on strategic plans is essential.
